RECOGNITION OF ASSOCIATESHIP IN INFORMATION SCIENCE ( AIS) AWARDED BY THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE COMMUNICATION AND INFORMATION RESOURCES ( NISCAIR), INDIA
Your kind attention is invited to the scheme of recruitment for the Library Staff stipulated in Commission Circular No. 653 dated 14th November, 1995.
2. The University Grants Commission at its 687th meeting held on 01st and 3rd June, 2005 and 717th meeting held on 17th and 21st August, 2006 decided to accept the Associateship in Information Science awarded by the National Institute of Science Communication and Information Resources, India as an approved postgraduate qualification required for confirmation and promotions for the post of Assistant Librarian in the University System.
3. Please take action accordingly.
