POSTS OF DIRECTOR AND INSTRUCTOR IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION
The University Grants Commission at its 287th meeting held on 9th January 1990 decided that :
(a) the present post of Director of Physical Education (Lower Grade) be abolished from the approved cadre of Higher Educational Institutions/Institutes. The post occupied by the Director/Physical Education (Lower Grade), at present will be treated as personal to him, until he is retired or promoted.
(b) the post of Director of Physical Education (Higher Grade) be designated as Director of Physical Education and to amend the scheme of recruitment for the post of Director of Physical Education as shown in the annexed Scheme of Recruitment.
(c) the scheme of recruitment for the post of Instructor in Physical Education, Grade I and Grade III be amended as annexed to this Circular.
