PAYMENT TO ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS WORKING ON HOLIDAYS


Your attention is drawn to Commission Circular No. 454 of 17th October 1991.

The Commission having considered the recommendation of the Standing Committee on University Staff Service Conditions has approved the following revised rates of payment for Administrative Officers of the Commission and Higher Educational Institutions and Institutes who are called upon to work during weekends and public holidays subject to a ceiling of Rs. 800 /- p.m .

(i) Payment of Rs.100 /- for a minimum of 03 hours of work

(ii) Payment of Rs. 200 /- for a minimum of 06 hours of work

The other terms and conditions laid down in Commission Circular No.454 dated 17th October 1990, will remain unchanged.

The revised rates will be effective from 1st November 1991.
