PARENTAL INCOME CEILING FOR THE PAYMENT OF BURSARIES
This Circular has been rescinded by Circular No : 573 | 613
Your reference is invited to Commission Circular No. 456 dated 26th October, 1990.
The University Grants Commission has approved the following revisions in the parental income ceilings applicable in considering students eligible to receive Bursaries.
(a) Annual income of Rs.32, 000 /- increased to Rs. 48,000/-
(b) Annual income of Rs.34, 000 /- increased to Rs. 54, 000/-
(c) Annual income of Rs. 36,000 /- increased to Rs. 60, 000/-
The revised income ceilings for selection of students eligible for Bursaries will be effective from 01st January, 1992.
