UNIFORMS TO MINOR EMPLOYEES
Your attention is drawn to Establishment Circular letter No.15/1989 and Commission Circular No. 469 of 30.10.1989 and 02.04.1991 issued in respect of Uniforms to Minor Employees.
The University Grants Commission at its 340th meeting held on 10th December 1991, having considered representations made by Trade Unions decided that the University Grants Commission has no objection if the Governing Authorities of Higher Educational Institutions/Institutes decide either to issue material for Uniforms or pay an allowance as they consider appropriate. Kindly note that issue of material for Uniforms has to be in accordance with Supply and Finance Circular No. 90 of 26th June,1978.
The provisions of this Circulars are effective from 1st Jan 1992.
