SCHEME OF RECRUITMENT for ASSISTANT DIRECTOR/REGIONAL EDUCATIONAL SERVICES
The University Grants Commission at its 357th meeting held on 7th July 1992, approved the Annexed amended scheme of recruitment for the post of Assistant Director/Regional Educational Services.
This scheme of recruitment will come into force with effect from 01.08.1992.

(a) A degree with First or Second Class Honours from a recognised University;
OR (b) A pass degree (or equivalent with post graduate qualifications from a recognised University the prescribed period of which shall not be less than one academic year,and OR (i) Educational Assistant, Grade I with aminimum of 08 years experience in the Re gional Educational Services and in the capacity of Regional Officer. OR (ii) Educational Assistant, Grade I who were appointed Co Regional Educational Services of the Open University and have covered at least 08 years administrative experience.
