REVISION OF SALARIES
This Circular has been modified by Circular No : 571
Your attention is drawn to following Commission Circulars:-
(i) Paragraphs 6 (a) & (b) of Circular No. 396 dated 28th April, 1989,
(ii) Paragraph 2 of Circular No.420 of 5th February 1990,
(iii) Circular No. 551 of 28th December 1992.
The Commission has decided that:
(a) graduates with First of Second Class (Upper Division) Degrees be recruited to the grade of Lecturer (Probationary) on the B-04 salary scale, waiving the requirement of serving a period of one year as an Assistant Lecturer on a fixed salary.
In keeping with the provisions of Circular No.551 a person appointed on or after 01.01.1993 has to be placed at the
following salary points :-
Those possessing first class or second class (Upper Division )
| 01.01.1993 | 01.01.1994 | |
| Lecturer (Probationary)- | Rs. 5175/- p.m | Rs.5850/- p.m |
The Commission further decided that the other terms and conditions laid down in the scheme of recruitment should remain unchanged.
The above amendments are effective from 01.01.1995.
