PAYMENT OF AN ALLOWANCE
I have pleasure in informing you that on recommendations made by the Hon.Minister of Justice and Higher Education, the Government has agreed to the following , which can be implemented now :-
An allowance of Rs. 150/- p.m. to be paid to all employees in the categories of A-05 to A - 15 with effect from 01.01.1993
The allowance of Rs. 150 /- p.m. payable under paragraph (f) above should be taken into account for the purpose of provident fund contributions, payment of gratuity, and in fixing the 60% limit when calculating the limits of deductions for loans granted.
All Higher educational Institutions/Institutes are requested to send a statement indicating the extra funds required to implement the above decision.
