RATES OF PAYMENT IN RESPECT TO EXAMINATIONS CONDUCTED BY THE POSTGRADUATE INSTITUTIONS
Your kind attention is drawn to page 9 of Commission Circular 636 dated 14.07.1995 and section (b) of Commission Circular 661 of 11.01.1996 regarding payment to Examiner conducting Oral/Viva examinations for Postgraduate Courses. .
The University Grants Commission at its 518th meeting decided to revise the present rates of payment as given below:
Oral/Viva Examination for Postgraduate Courses
(i) M.A./M.Sc./M.Phil - Rs. 400/= per candidate per examiner
( ii) Ph. D - Rs. 500/= per candidate per examiner
The amended rate of payment will be effective from 01.07.1998.
