CHANGE OF RATIOS STIPULATED IN THE PROMOTIOMAL SCHEMES OF CLERKS/LIBRARY ASSISTANTS/SHROFF/STORE-KEEPERS/TECHNICAL OFFICERS
Your attention is invited to Commission Circular No.652 dated 14.11.1995 on the above subject and I wish to inform you that paragraphs 3(a) and 4 thereon have been amended as follows :-
Para.3(a) The Universities/Colleges/Institutes should invite applications by internal advertisement from candidates who, in terms of the Scheme of Recruitment, have become eligible for promotion as at 31st December of the previous year. The candidates should submit their applications in the specimen form annexed for this purpose. The University Grants Commission will continue to invite applications and conduct written examinations for promotion to Grade II posts of Clerk, Store-Keeper and Shroff service.
Para 4 When forwarding the applications submitted by the candidates, the Head of the Department/Division should also submit a special report regarding the employee's suitability for promotion to the next higher grade by filling part two of the form attached to this Circular. This special report should not be a confidential report.
