RATES OF PAYMENT FOR INTERNAL EXAMINATIONS CONDUCTED BY THE UNIVERSITIES
Your kind attention is invited to Commissicn Circular No.636 dated 14.07.1995 on the above subject.
The University Grants Commission at its 461st meeting decided to revise the present rates of payment stipulated in Commission Circular 656 for Continuous Assessment. Accordingly, the paragraph appearing on page 5 of the UGC Circular 656 is amended as follows:
Payment for Continuous Assessment
When Continuous Assessment systems are adopted either on a term or semster basis, payments may be made annually up to a maximum of four (04) assessments on the basis of 25% of the Final Examination rate. Claims for the Continuous Assessments should be submitted along with the claims for Final Examinations.
The revised rates of payment applicable for Continuous Assessment will be effective from 01 May 1995, the date on which Commission Circular 656 came into effect.
