ISSUE OF UNIFORMS AND PROTECTIVE CLOTHINGS

Your kind attention is drawn to Supply and Finance Circular No.90 of 26th June 1978, Commission Circular Nos.404 of 08th September 1989 and 667 of 12th February 1996 respectively on the above subject.
The University Grants Commission has decided to authorise the councils of the Universities/Boards of Management of Institutes to decide the posts which qualify for uniforms and the Description, Quantity and Frequency of the issue of uniforms and protective clothings to employees attached to the Higher Educational Institutions and Institutes.
Please take action accordingly.
